The 5th & 6th Grade Rec League begins approximately the 1st week in November and will end in February.

Evaluations will be held at Martin Meylin: 

November 9, 2022 

6:00 - 7:00 for 5th grade boys

7:00 - 8:00 for 6th grade boys

*Monday November 7th, 8:00-9:00, will be for anyone that can not make this tryout

Teams will be formed fairly based on evaluations that will be held at the start of the season.

​

This league was created this year to allow for all 5th & 6th graders a place in our community to participate in basketball.  This is designed for players who are developing fundamental skills in the sport so situational aspects of the game can be strengthened.  

​

Weekly commitment is 2 times a week (this includes practices and games).

​

Games are held internally (LS school gyms).

​

All players will receive a basketball jersey to be used during practices and games.

 

Please consider volunteering to coach.  This league will not happen unless there are enough volunteers to coach each team.
