🏀 Welcome to the LS Youth Basketball 2026 Season!

We're excited to have your player and family join the Lampeter Strasburg Youth Basketball (LSYB) community! Whether your player is picking up a basketball for the first time or is ready for competitive play, we have a program designed to help them learn, grow, and have fun.

This form will:

  • Register your player for the upcoming LSYB 2026 season.

  • Add parents/guardians to our LSYB Spond Club, our League's official platform for registration, payments, schedules, team updates, and all other league communication and announcements.

Please review the program options below to help you register for the league that best fits your player's grade level and interests.

🏀 Skills League

Registration Fee: $75

Perfect for our youngest players - Kindergarten through 2nd Grade! This co-ed instructional program introduces the fundamentals of basketball through fun drills, games, and activities. Players will build confidence, learn basic skills, make new friends, and discover a love for the game in a positive and encouraging environment.

🏀 Recreation League

Registration Fee: $100 / $115 (includes uniform shorts)

Our Recreation League is a great fit for players who want to continue developing their skills while enjoying organized practices and games in a learning, team-focused atmosphere.

Teams are available for:

  • 3rd/4th Grade Girls

  • 3rd/4th Grade Boys

  • 5th/6th Grade Girls

  • 5th/6th Grade Boys

🏀 Travel League

Registration Fee: $175

Our Travel League offers a competitive basketball experience for players looking to challenge themselves through advanced competition and additional commitment. LSYB Travel Teams are members of the South Central Youth Basketball League (SCYBL) and play teams from programs in the Lancaster/Lebanon area. 

Travel teams are available for:

  • 4th Grade Boys

  • 4th Grade Girls

  • 5th Grade Boys

  • 5th Grade Girls

  • 6th Grade Boys

  • 6th Grade Girls

*Please Note: Players interested in Travel Teams must participate in tryouts. Players who are not selected for a travel team will automatically be placed on a Recreation League team, and any difference in registration fees will be refunded. If you prefer not to have your player placed on a Recreation League team, please notify the LSYB Board after tryout results are announced.

📅 Before You Register

🟢 August 3 – Registration Opens
Registration opens for all LSYB programs. We encourage families to register early to help us plan teams, coaches, and uniforms.

🔴 September 13 – Registration Closes
All player registrations must be submitted by this date. Team formation and travel team planning will begin shortly after registration closes.

💳 October 1 – Registration Payment Due
All registration fees must be paid in full by October 1. Payments are made through the LSYB Spond Club. Players must have their registration fees paid before participating in league activities and open gyms.

  • Registration and payment must be completed before league open gyms begin.

  • Be sure to review the season registration announcement for important dates, league information, and additional program details.

  • Once registered, Spond will be your go-to resource for schedules, team communication, practice updates, payments, and league news throughout the season.
