This is where the concept of Microinsurance is becoming a game-changer for community sports accessibility.
Unlike traditional, high-premium policies, Microinsurance is designed to be affordable and specific. In the world of youth basketball, these low-cost plans can provide targeted coverage for sports-related injuries or even "fee insurance" if a child has to sit out a season due to unforeseen circumstances.
